In its most basic definition, contamination occurs when something is added to another that is considered to be pure. They exist separately until contaminated. On an extreme scale of pure to impure there is a distinct notion of what is perceived as good and what is perceived as bad. Although living in these extremes is not always our reality, when they become one, they become neutral; neither good nor bad. When something becomes more pure or less pure, the extreme then becomes our reality, with more implication of addition and subtraction. The interaction between these purities is a reality that is never simply defined.
My reality is convoluted throughout my own purities that continue to subtract and add to my own growth.
